A Little About Me
Hi there! I'm Jo, and I'm the Operations & Finance Director here at Delta Mortgages. In my day-to-day work, I have the pleasure of looking after all things operational and financial, from creating our budgets and forecasts to managing our wonderful suppliers.
Having spent a couple of decades in businesses of all shapes and sizes, I've got a soft spot for building the kind that lasts. Businesses where the people are smiling, cash flow is strong, and processes run without a fuss.
Ultimately, my main mission is to bring sensible order to growing businesses, making sure we have the right structure, systems, and governance to thrive. When challenges pop up, I'm always ready to jump in, fix issues, and find solutions!
Who I Work With
One of the great things about my role is that I get to collaborate with pretty much everyone across the team.
Alongside my fellow Directors, I help shape and put into action our company strategy – with the aim of building a truly client-focused business.
I'm involved with the team from the initial spark of an idea right through to seeing the impact it has.
Whether it's dreaming up new ways to improve things, tracking our performance, or keeping everyone in the loop, I'm involved every step of the way.
My Superpowers
Developing organisations and their people to be the best versions of themselves.
Making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently – like a well-oiled machine. If something isn't working as well as it could be, I'm definitely the one who'll try to find a way to improve it.
Got a problem? Count me in. I like untangling tricky situations to find a good way forward.
Analysing data to help us plan for what's coming down the road, which is pretty handy.
Explaining all the financial and operational jargon in a way that makes sense to everyone on the team.
Me Outside Delta
Adventure is my constant companion outside of work with my free time all about discovery! I absolutely love trying anything new – a new city, a quirky restaurant, an exciting experience – I'm always game!
My big dream is to see every country on the planet, so I'm constantly chasing the next adventure.
My poor husband and daughter are often swept away on my travel escapades! When I'm not plotting my next itinerary, you'll find me either getting some fresh air on a walk, hitting the gym, or curled up with a gripping crime thriller.
