A Little About Me
I’ve worked in financial services since the mid-1990s, but what’s kept me here all these years isn’t rates or numbers, it’s people.
I’ve seen how overwhelming mortgage decisions can be, especially when life doesn’t go to plan. My role is simple: listen properly, explain things clearly, and help people feel confident about the choices they’re making. No jargon. No pressure. No one-size-fits-all advice.
What motivates me most is seeing the shift from stress to reassurance when someone realises they’ve been heard and supported. Trust matters to me, and I focus on building long-term relationships, not quick transactions.
I’m very family-oriented, grounded and people-focused, and that’s exactly how I approach my work: with care, integrity and a genuine desire to help people move forward.
Who I Work With
I work with a wide range of clients, but I’m particularly experienced in helping people who value clear explanations, practical solutions and a supportive approach.
Many of my clients include first-time buyers who want guidance through every step of the process and reassurance that nothing is being overlooked; home movers and remortgage clients looking to secure the right deal, reduce monthly payments or plan ahead; clients consolidating debts who want to simplify their finances and regain control; later-life borrowers seeking options such as extending terms, restructuring borrowing or exploring equity release where appropriate; self-employed and complex income clients who need an adviser who understands lender criteria and how to present their case properly; and clients who have experienced life changes such as separation, redundancy, illness or rising household costs, and need thoughtful, realistic advice.
I’m often approached by people who feel overwhelmed, unsure where to start or who have been told “no” elsewhere. My role is to assess what can be done, explain the options clearly and put together solutions that are affordable, sustainable and tailored to their circumstances.
My Mortgage Superpowers
After nearly 30 years in mortgages, I’ve picked up a few superpowers (sadly, still no cape):
Mortgage-speak translator
I turn confusing lender jargon into clear, human English, no dictionary, no headache, no panic-Googling required.
Problem-solver for the “awkward” cases
Self-employed, multiple incomes, later-life borrowing, or been told “no” elsewhere? I enjoy untangling tricky cases far more than ticking boxes.
Debt declutterer
I help tidy up tangled finances and create solutions that actually work long-term, not just something that looks good on a spreadsheet.
Later-life lending guide
Extending terms, planning ahead, or exploring equity release? I help clients understand their options properly, without pressure or surprises.
Calm, even when everything feels anything but
Mortgages can be stressful. I don’t add to it, I bring clarity, reassurance, and a steady hand.
The “I’ll see this through” type
I don’t disappear once the application’s in. I stay involved, keep you updated, and get you over the finish line.
Me Outside Delta
Outside of work, I’m very much about people. I’m fortunate to have a close circle of friends and a supportive family, and over the years I’ve built strong relationships across many different social circles. Those friendships mean a great deal to me, and they’re also a big part of why I do what I do — many of my clients come to me through personal recommendations, which I take as the highest compliment.
I’ve been playing snooker since I was young and still play in a couple of leagues, as well as serving on the committee at my local club. I’m also a lifelong football fan and a committed West Ham United supporter — a loyalty I’ve passed on to my three grown-up children (whether they openly acknowledge it or not).
Above all, my children are my world, and I try to stay socially active and well-balanced outside of work. I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead and being part of such a great team at Delta — and if 2026 brings good clients, good people, and a decent snooker break or two, I’ll be more than happy with that.

Your property could be at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage, or any debt secured on it.
