
A Little About Me
I spent 17 years in a sixth form classroom, helping young people figure out who they were and what came next. I loved it - every challenge, every conversation, every “lightbulb moment.” But eventually, I felt the pull for something different, a new challenge.
I ended up at a large insurance brokerage. It was intense but I enjoyed learning something new and helping the customers. The downside for me was not being allowed to give actual advice. I had a script to follow and high pressure to make a ’sale’. I soon realised this wasn’t how I wanted to do things. It wasn’t customer focussed, it was money focussed. The more I learned, the more I wanted to do things differently, customer needs centred at the heart of every piece of advice. I qualified with the Chartered Institute of Insurance and stepped into advising the right way - with care, context, and a clear plan.
Who I Work With
I work with a wide range of clients from families and first-time buyers to business owners and sports people.
I help clients make smart decisions about Private Medical Insurance, Income Protection, and Life Insurance. I use the same skills I leaned on in the classroom, translating complicated stuff into plain English and making sure people feel confident, not confused.
My Superpowers
Friends call me “The Private Eye.” If they need to know anything, about anyone or anything, they come to me. It’s a running joke, but it turns out it’s a pretty useful skill in my work too. When it comes to protection insurance, I dig deep. I’ll hunt down the best cover, the best terms, and the best deal for my clients. If the right policy exists, I’ll find it.
I make insurance make sense. Too often people take out insurance without any advice or understanding. I explain everything in clear, no-nonsense language. My clients walk away knowing exactly what they are covered for, and why it matters. This is a priority for me, because your family and its financial security is paramount.
I’m known for solving complex cases, with tricky medical disclosures. I’m like a dog with a bone! I won’t give up until I’ve exhausted every avenue. Cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, ulcerative colitis – you name it, I’ve covered just about everything!
Me Outside Delta
Outside of work you’ll find me on adventures with my husband and two young children, socialising with friends or sweating it out at Crossfit. I love a good challenge such as a Crossfit competition or a charity hike.
